Outsourcing Trends 2014: New Ways to Outsource

2014 will be about new ways to outsource, new pricing models, new ways to manage deals, and a plethora of rich new services – not to mention the new innovations that we have yet to dream up. With continued globalization, consolidation, and diversification of various industries, the outsourcing sector is becoming more complex than ever before. Supported by fast paced technology changes, outsourcing market has developed customized services, identified new business niches, helped implement innovative strategies, and captured new market opportunities. To compound this effect, the pace of change has become blisteringly fast, with traditional outsourcing models crumbling more quickly than we could have imagined. Adding to this is the uncertainty of the economy, as many of the trends could be accelerated or slowed due to the macro-economic situation. Predicting what will happen in 2014, therefore is difficult. And yet we can at least make a guess by looking at the trends that have been evident in the latter half of this year.
